Getting Started

This was actually a long journey, so bear with me. Smokers often say they want to quit, but everything about smoking - holding it, the taste, seeing the smoke come out, are often the satisfying experiences. But smoking is bad for you. VERY BAD FOR YOU! That's a fact and one does not need to be a medical expert to know that. What's in a cigarette besides tobacco? Poisons like formaldehyde, arsenic, and benzene, just to name a few. In other words, you're inhaling poison on constant basis and at high levels. Here's a list of what's in them:

Now, are you wheezing from smoking? Does your breath smell bad? Do your clothes smell bad? Are you out of breath easily? Are your teeth stained? All of the above? You might not know that cigarette smoke stinks because you're used to it and can't smell it anymore. Smoking kills taste buds, and sense of taste and smell are reliant on each other, so you might not know it, but yeah, the stuff smells and therefore, you do. Take it a step further. Smoking severely decreases a circulation, so if you're a guy who's sexually active and getting older, it's going to cause issues in your sex life. If the health risks don't scare you enough, that should. If you have to compare the two, sex wins out over smoking any day. I'd rather be doing the former all the time than the latter.

Thinking about quitting now? Read on.
